Occupation of ‘t Parlement (Halle)

BEzetting van 't Parlement

Location: 't Parlement Klinkaert 10 1500 Halle

Not the one where our politicians meet, of course. But Frank and Mina’s café of the same name at Klinkaart in Halle.

On Sunday 12 May 2024 you will not see owners Frank and Mina behind their bar, but probably enjoying a good glass of beer on their own terrace! On that day (10 am-6 pm), the Lambikstoempers will occupy ‘t Parlement to put 10 beers from their own region in the spotlight, with the intention of letting the general public discover the beer riches of our own region.

‘We left out the traditional lambic beers for once and chose smaller, authentic or new breweries from the region whose beers are not so well known to the general public. The very extensive beer menu of ‘t Parlement is put aside for a while and makes way for a selection of De Lambikstoempers,’ said chairman Wanne Madalijns.

‘t Parlement (Halle)

The location of this event is obviously no coincidence. Not only is ‘t Parlement in Halle a cosy pub with a heart for beers (and whiskies), but also the regular meeting place of De Lambikstoempers vzw and the winner of the Gouden Lambikstoemper 2016.

You can also enjoy a small snack during our Occupation of ‘t Parlement: a cheese plate or home-made meatballs. Ideal to surprise your mum, because… it’s also Mother’s Day of course.

Curious? You can come and discover the beers on Sunday 12 May 2024 from 10 am to 6 pm at Klinkaart 10 in Halle. Perhaps until then, over a good glass of Belgian beer!

Our fingers are crossed for good weather! After all, the terrace of ‘t Parlement is always a nice place to be… …
