For the 19th time De Lambikstoempers organize their yearly BEER WEEKEND. This nineteenth edition traditionally takes place on the last weekend of august, at the Visitors Centre ‘De Lambiek’ in Alsemberg (Beersel).
Saturday 25th of August from 2 pm until 12 pm and sunday 26th of August from 2 pm until 8 pm.
+100 different beers
As in previous years we have tackled the hold, our visitors can choose from more than 100 different beers, which you can taste in 15cl-glasses. (So you can taste a lot!) We have tried to gather all the different kinds of beer.

Obviously we will serve a wide range of Lambic beers (from the basic brew Lambic to Oude Gueuze, Oude Kriek and other fruit beers). These beers are supplied by the “Streekproducten Centrum” at Halle. A large number of exceptional beers we personally get at the brewers. These are beers that are not so familiar to the general public.
These 100 beers are just a small selection of Belgian beers, Belgium really is the land of beers. You could say that every visitor will find a Belgian beer that will appeal to him / her (from sweet fruity through bitter and acid).
Beers in the spotlight: We ❤ Brussels
It’s tradition we put some beers in the spotlight. This year we selected a wide variety of Brussels beers, special ones and beers not (yet) known by the (large) public. Come and taste them! 😉
The hungry ones can buy a local snack, a sandwich with cheese (plattekaas) & radishes/spring onions (very tasty with an Old Geuze/Kriek!), a portion of cheese/salami/mixed – provided by Ouderraad Basisschool Huizingen – or a sandwich with (in Timmermans Old Kriek!) marinated ham from Benny’s Pigdelicious.
A real succes for the visitors is the Beer tombola: for only a small contribution you have the oppotunity to go home with a nice beer price.
Even the little ones are more than welcome to our Beer Weekend! While you taste, your children can enjoy themselves with our big coloring contest or at the BumpFun jumping castle. They themselves can naturally taste a juice or water.
