Help Wanne and vote for our Duvel Tripel Hop favourite

Duvel Tripel Hop box

You may have noticed it yet, but Duvel has marketed a Tripel Hop Tasting Box, which includes the 6 different Duvel Tripel Hop tastes brewed so far.

  • The intention? The intention is that everyone votes for his/her favourite  anf the winner will be permanently available from 2017 on.
  • Why this appeal to you? Because The face of Tripel Hop n° 1 is Wanne, president of “De Lambikstoempers”. “I was tempted by the Amarillo-version, nice fruitiness and delicious bitternes. It’s wild and pure Rock ’n Roll in your glass”, according to Wanne. “So vote for n°1, Amarillo … and bring the original Duvel Tripel Hop – of 2007/2010 – back to life!”

6 tastes in 1 box

The classic Duvel is brewed with 2 hop: Saaz-Saaz and Styrian Golding. Since 2007, once a year the masterbrewers of Duvel also select a third hops with the result: the Duvel Tripel Hop. Meanwhile, already 6 different hops (and tastes) were used, namely: Amarillo, Citra, Sorachi Ace, Mosaic, Equinox and the experimental hop HBC291. An ambassador for each of these editions was chosen … But that isnb’t really important, because you all will vote for our president, right? 😀

“Wannius Snijladam”, troubadour of the West Coast, has directed us – through his remarkable life story – by Belgian forests and towns, remarkable sites and surprising characters. And of course, he also brought some souvenirs in the form of tasters. It was an evening full of goblins, wolves, trolls, pirates, giants and … a friendly gang of beer tasters.
