Our first activity of 2017 brought us to the Rupel region! First we visited the Ecomuseum and Archives of the Brick (Boom). A guide led us through the story of life, living and working in the Rupel region, past and present, with a common thread: the brick industry.
Then we went to De Klem brewery, where brewer Olivier Op De Beeck opened his doors for us, just two days after the official opening of the brewery, to inaugurate the Lambikstoempers in the affairs of the village brewery … obviously with the necessary degustations.
In short, our year has started well!
